• Dates & Times:
  October 20 | 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  October 21 | 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM

• Location: COURTYARD 66 - 6th of October City, in front of Mall of Arabia.
• Minimum age: 16 years old (boys & girls).
• Nursing Room equipped with a baby cot, high chair and play area available for mommies upon request

Who is this Workshop for?

Beginners, whether it’s your hobby, you want to refresh your knowledge, or you have no idea how punch needle works, this workshop is for YOU!

What will I learn in this workshop?

It’s a 12 hour intensive workshop divided on 2 days where you will learn the following:

• Plunging into the world of punch needle (Discussing the tool and technique)
• A bit of history about punch needle & rug hooking
• The modern school of punch needle
• What's in your kit? (learning about needles, fabrics, threads, frames, etc.)
• Setting up your frame and fabric
• Golden rules of punch needle
• Fundamental stitches & techniques
• Project: Apply what you learned and create your own punch needle masterpiece (From sketching to transferring your design onto fabric, choosing the perfect color palette and techniques, punching, backing your piece and adding a few final touches to the piece)

The seats are VERY limited: 10 students max, so Mariam can focus with each and everyone of you

• Acrylic Yarn

• Embroidery Snips

• Sketching Pencils

You'll also get the opportunity to work on a gripper strip frame made by Mariam exclusively the entire duration of the workshop.

• The Punch Needle Workshop fees are 4500 EGP per student (including supplies and food & beverages for 2 full days)
• To confirm booking your spot, you can pay the full amount online via credit/debit card, or using valU instalment plans, or cash at the studio (from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm until October 15th)
• In case of cancellation make sure to send an email to nourane@courtyard66.studio BEFORE October 15th. Booking starting July October 15th is non-refundable.‍
